IpsoFit

Medical & Safety Disclaimer

Version 1.2 — last updated 15 September 2026

1. Not a medical device, not medical advice

IpsoFit is a productivity and general-fitness app. It is not a medical device, has not been reviewed by any health authority, and nothing it shows — exercise suggestions, repetition counts, calibration levels, statistics, reminders — is medical, physiotherapeutic or dietary advice. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. Do not use IpsoFit to make decisions about a health condition. For any medical concern, consult a qualified professional; in an emergency, call your local emergency number.

2. Talk to a professional before you start

Physical exercise carries a risk of injury and, rarely, of serious events such as heart problems. Before starting to use IpsoFit — or any exercise programme — consult a doctor or another qualified healthcare professional, and do so in particular if any of these applies to you:

Only you and your healthcare professional can judge whether an exercise is suitable for you. IpsoFit's selection is automatic and generic: it does not consider your medical history.

3. Stop immediately if

Stop exercising and seek medical help if you experience:

Do not resume until a professional says it is safe. IpsoFit cannot detect these symptoms and cannot call for help.

4. Exercise instructions are general guidance

5. Eye-rest breaks

Eye-rest exercises (looking away from the screen, blinking, focusing at a distance) are comfort routines for screen work. They are not a treatment for any eye condition and do not replace an eye examination. If you have persistent eye strain, pain, blurred or double vision, see an eye-care professional.

6. Reminders and timers

Reminders, working-hours schedules and Pomodoro timers are productivity aids. They are not medical schedules, and a missed or extra break has no clinical meaning. Never exercise when it would be unsafe — for example while driving, operating machinery or in a space where you could fall.

7. Your acknowledgment

The first time you enter IpsoFit — and again whenever this notice changes — the app shows a summary of this disclaimer and asks you to confirm that you have read and understood it before any exercise can start. The app records, on your device only, which version you acknowledged and when. By continuing you confirm that you accept this disclaimer and the Terms of Use, and that you exercise at your own risk.
